How it looks on each platform
Apple, Google, Samsung and Microsoft all draw the same object: two handled steins angled toward each other. What varies is the middle. Some versions splash beer out of the mugs at the point of contact, others just let the rims touch. Foam height varies too, so at message size the glyph reads as mostly white on one phone and mostly amber on another. Nobody draws pint glasses here, and no version takes a skin tone modifier.
Caveats
- Screen readers announce it as clinking beer mugs, so a triple run is spoken three times.
- Username and handle fields reject it on most platforms. Display names usually do not.
- There is no animated version in Unicode. Moving clinking mugs in Slack or Discord are custom images uploaded to that one server, and they do not travel as text.
