Food and Drink Emoji โ Copy, Paste, Repeat
Every food, drink and bar character on this site sits in one grid. Tap a tile and the bare character goes to your clipboard, with no name, no code and nothing to clean up. The repeat box builds long runs.
Tap any tile to copy it. Nothing is sent anywhere — the copy happens in your browser.
Repeat it 100, 1000 or 10,000 times
100 copies — 499 characters.

What each tile hands over
A tile copies one character. Not the name, not a space, not an HTML entity, not an image. That is the whole point of the grid: whatever you paste into a message, a document title, a spreadsheet cell or a bio field is exactly the character and nothing else. The repeat box does the other half of the job โ pick a character or a phrase, pick how many, and get one block to copy instead of holding down paste.
The five wings
- Food โ the hot food, bread, cheese and takeout set. Start at food emoji, or go straight to pizza.
- Fruit and dessert โ fruit emoji and cake emoji, plus the cookie, doughnut and ice cream leaves.
- Drink โ the non-alcoholic set on drink emoji, and the cup that most people came for on coffee emoji.
- Bar โ beer, wine, champagne and the clinking glasses live in the bar wing. This domain used to be about prohibition-era drinking, which is why that wing is here rather than bolted on.
- Certification marks โ the OU, OK, STAR-K, halal and gluten-free marks on packaging. Those are trademarked logos, not characters. They cannot be copied as text at any size, and the kosher symbols pages say so plainly rather than pretending otherwise.
The name is the standard. The picture is not.
Unicode fixes two things about each of these: a code point and an official name. 🍕 is Slice Of Pizza, U+1F355, and that never changes. The drawing does. Apple, Google, Samsung, Microsoft and WhatsApp each ship their own artwork, and they redraw it between releases. The best-known example is the hamburger: in 2017 Googleโs 🍔 put the cheese under the patty while Appleโs put it on top, and Google redrew it in Android 8.1. The character was identical the whole time. Assume the person reading your message sees a slightly different picture than you do.
When these characters were added
Anything recent may show as an empty box on an old phone or an unpatched desktop. The version a character shipped in is the best guess at how widely it renders.

Where they break
- Username and handle fields. Almost every character here lives above U+FFFF, and a lot of sign-up forms reject anything in that range. โ (Hot Beverage, U+2615) is the exception on this site โ it sits in the basic plane and survives fields the newer ones do not.
- Character counters. One of these is a single character but two UTF-16 units, so counters in SMS apps and some post editors charge you two.
- Screen readers. Most read the name of every character in turn. A block of a hundred from the repeat box is announced a hundred times, which is fine in a private joke and hostile in a form label or a heading.
- Old systems. Point-of-sale printers, some database columns and plain ASCII channels drop them or replace them with a question mark.
If you want the long runs rather than the characters, the repeat tool has its own pages โ see copy and paste 100 times.
